Cookie Policy
Effective October 30, 2026
1. What this covers
This policy lists the cookies and similar browser storage (local storage) used on qais.app, on workspace addresses such as yourteam.qais.app, and in the QRM web app. It sits beside our Privacy Policy, which explains how HQE Systems Inc. handles personal information.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not let advertising networks track you on our sites.
2. Your choices on qais.app
The first time you visit qais.app we ask whether we may count your visits. Nothing is counted until you choose Accept analytics. If you choose Decline, analytics stay off and any analytics identifier from an earlier visit is erased. You can change your choice at any time:
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as Decline and do not show the banner.
3. What we store
| Name | Where | Type | Purpose | Kept |
|---|---|---|---|---|
token | Workspaces | Cookie and local storage, strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in to your workspace. | Until you sign out or the session expires |
*_oauth_csrf, *_signin_nonce | Workspaces | Cookie, strictly necessary | Protects a sign-in or a connection to another service (for example Google or Microsoft) against forgery while it completes. | Minutes, deleted when the step finishes |
qais-consent | qais.app | Local storage, strictly necessary | Remembers your privacy choice so we do not ask again. | Until you clear site data |
qais-theme | qais.app | Local storage, preference | Remembers light or dark mode. | Until you clear site data |
qa_sid, qa_mt | qais.app | Local storage, analytics (only after you accept) | A random visit identifier and, when you arrive from one of our emails, the email link token, so we can count visits and see which pages help. Visits are recorded by our own analytics service; they are not shared with advertising networks. | Until you decline or clear site data |
| Workspace preferences | Workspaces | Local storage, preference | Layout, theme, drafts, and similar settings inside the app. | Until you clear site data |
4. Other services
- Sign-up protection: the qais.app sign-up form uses Google reCAPTCHA to keep automated sign-ups out. Google may set its own cookies when that form loads; see Google’s privacy policy.
- Payments and connected services: when you pay, or connect an account such as Google, Microsoft, Slack, or a bank through Plaid, that provider’s page may set its own cookies under its own policy.
Fonts and site files on qais.app are served from qais.app itself.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can delete cookies and site data or block them in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary items will stop sign-in from working.
